Fortnite is played by millions of users since the day it was launched, 2017. Undoubtedly, it is one of the most popular Battle Royale games in the gaming industry. Its popularity over the years has not stopped rumors of it shutting down from making its way around the community. Rumors of Fortnite shutting down is circulating around the web and this is not the first time, this happened two times before as well. A tweet from Fornite’s official account has caused too much panic among players all over the world.

Case 1: The first tweet came in May 2018 which stated that ”

“Due to the lawsuit against PubG on copyright infringement. We are sorry to inform you that Fortnite Battle Royale Will be coming to an end on May 24, 2018.

“Save the world will still be in development and we will roll out ASAP. Thank you all for the support.”

But after some time everyone took a deep breath when they got to know that the post was nothing but a rumor.

then in the same year again a tweet came and created a crash in Fortnite lovers.

Case 2: The second rumor came in September 2018, stated that

“Fortnite will be shutting down on September 26th, 2018. We just simply can’t keep up with the big demand. It was fun whilst it lasted! A big thank you from everyone at Epic Games!”

This post is now nowhere on social media.

Sometimes what happened is, the servers go down due to Maintainance. One more case when servers were down for around 20 hours.

Actually what happened in this is, Fortnite was down for some time due to maintenance. Generally, Maintainance lasts for 2 hours. But that time Maintenance began at 3.21 am GMT and whilst downtime usually lasts around two hours, it wasn’t until 8.07 pm UK time that Epic Games tweeted: “The Battle Bus once again operational!” To apologize for the extended downtime, Epic Games announced Battle Royale players would receive free Back Bling for logging in over the weekend of April 13-15. And Meanwhile, all this happened.
